History - Established 2003

Established on December 12, 2003, the Navy Ceremonial Guard Ribbon honors Navy personnel who carry out a standard tour with the Navy Ceremonial Guard in Washington D.C. in an honorable manner and without incurring disciplinary action. Navy Reservists who carry out a minimum of 18 months of drills with the Guard, including ceremonies, funerals, firing parties, colorguard, or marching platoons, may also be eligible for the award. The award may be granted for service retroactive to May 1, 2001.

Details

The ribbon is bisected by a thin vertical gray line flanked on either side by a stripe each of white, yellow, and dark blue.
