Republic of Vietnam Training Service 1C Medal Medal

History - Established 1964

The Republic of Vietnam Training Service 1C Medal honors military members who carried out exceptional service while assigned at a military training facility or who made substantial and sustained contributions to training South Vietnamese forces. The award is issued at the 1C level for officers and the 2C officer for enlisted members.

The former Republic of South Vietnam created a series of awards to honor military members and civilians who carried out service on behalf of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War and related operations between 1949 and 1974. As the nation no longer exists, the awards are considered obsolete.
