Military Training Instructor Ribbon
History - Established 1998
Established on December 7, 1998, the Air Force Basic Military Training Instructor Ribbon honors Military Training Instructors at Air Force Basic Military Training and Officer Training School. The award is granted when an individual graduates from MTI School and may be worn permanently once an individual completes a one-year term as an instructor; this requirement may be waived in extenuating circumstances.
Technical Training School instructors are not eligible for the award.
Details
The ribbon is black with a thin vertical stripe of light blue, red, and white each proceeding outward toward each edge.
Additional three-year terms as a Military Training Instructor may be indicated by oak leaf clusters.
