California National Guard Achievement
The California National Guard Achievement Medal honors California National Guard members who carry out outstanding or honorable service of a lesser nature than that warranting the California Commendation Medal.
California National Guard Commanding General’s Meritorious Unit Citation – AF/Navy Frame
The California National Guard Commanding General’s Meritorious Unit Citation recognizes units of the California National Guard that distinguish themselves through outstanding accomplishments or comportment during peacetime. The term of service must have been carried out after September 11, 2001.
Colorado National Guard Soldier/Airman of the Year Award
The Colorado National Guard Soldier/Airman of the Year Award Ribbon honors five Colorado National Guard members annually for performances that have distinguished them from their peers.
California National Guard State Service
The California National Guard State Service Ribbon honors California National Guard members who carry out active service on behalf of California in wartime or in a state of emergency declared by the governor.
California National Guard Service Medal
The California National Guard Service Medal Ribbon honors California National Guard members who carry out ten years of service. After the initial award, it is administered at intervals of five years.
California National Guard Senior Enlisted Leadership
The California National Guard Senior Enlisted Leadership Ribbon honors California National Guard Senior Enlisted members.
California National Guard Recruiting Achievement
The California National Guard Recruiting Achievement Ribbon honors California National Guard members who demonstrate outstanding recruiting performances.
California National Guard Order of California Medal
The California National Guard Order of California Medal Ribbon honors California National Guard members who demonstrate exceptional behavior or accomplishment while carrying out service to California or the nation while holding a position of major responsibility, typically in the act of a particularly difficult undertaking.
California National Guard Military Cross
The California National Guard Military Cross Ribbon honors California National Guard members who execute a heroic act. The act is not required to have been in the service of California or the United States.
California National Guard Memorial Service
The California National Guard Memorial Service Medal honors California National Guard members who are killed while carrying out service on behalf of California or the United States. It is given to the honoree’s next-of-kin. Individuals whose death results from misconduct are not eligible for the award.
