Established on December 29, 1921, the Dominican Campaign Medal honors Navy and Marine Corps members who carried out service in the Dominican Republic between May 5 and December 4, 1916 during the United States' invasion of the country.

Details

The medal features the image of a fortress and an inscription reading “DOMINICAN CAMPAIGN - 1916.” The ribbon is red with two thin vertical dark blue stripes toward the center.
