History - Established 1945

Now obsolete, the Marine Corps Service Ribbon was used between December 17, 1945 and December 17, 1965 to honor Marine Corps Reservists who honorably carried out ten years of service while meeting drill attendance requirements. The ten-year term may be consecutive or agglomerated so long as it takes place within a twelve-year period.

Details

The ribbon is gold with a thin vertical red stripe on each edge.
