The Air Force Civilian Achievement Award Medal is granted to civilians who carry out sustained, notable work of merit in the service of the United States. Awardees must exceeded standards and expectations in performing this work.
The medal is silver with the image of an eagle atop a shield bearing the Air Force seal. It is framed with a wreath of laurels. The ribbon is blue with four thin vertical white stripes in the center and two more widely spaced thin vertical white stripes toward the exterior.
