History

The Arizona National Guard Adjutant General's Medal Ribbon is presented at the discretion of the Arizona Adjutant General to service members who distinguish themselves through notable accomplishments or comportment.

The Arizona National Guard is made up of the Arizona Army National Guard and the Arizona Air National Guard. The Army component was established in 1865 and currently numbers approximately 5,000 soldiers. The Air component dates back to 1946 with the 197th Fighter Squadron; it is currently headquartered in Phoenix.

Details

The ribbon is green with a vertical dark blue stripe followed by a thin vertical red stripe and a vertical yellow stripe on either side proceeding outward.
