History

The Nebraska National Guard Recruiting Achievement Ribbon honors Nebraska National Guard members who successfully secure three new recruits.

The Nebraska National Guard is composed of the Nebraska Army National Guard and the Nebraska Air National Guard. The Army component originated in 1854 and currently numbers approximately 3,700, making its headquarters in Lincoln. Established in 1946, the Air component numbers around 950 and is also headquartered in Lincoln; it consists of the 155th Air Refueling Wing and the 170th Group.

Details

The ribbon is white with seven thin vertical red lines in the center alternating with eight white; the lines are flankd by a thin vertical light blue stripe on either side, and a thin light blue line and thin red stripe appear on each edge proceeding outward.
