History

The Nevada National Guard Service Ribbon honors Nevada National Guard members who carry out five years of service honorably.

The Nevada National Guard is composed of the Nevada Army National Guard and the Nevada Air National Guard. The Army component numbers approximately 2,500 and is based in Carson City. The Air component, established in 1948, numbers around 1,100; it is currently based in Fallon and consists of the 152d Airlift Wing and the support units 232d Operations Squadron and 92d Civil Support Team.

Details

The ribbon is bisected by a vertical red stripe and features a stripe of golden yellow, dark blue (thin) and dark blue (thick) proceeding outward toward each edge, separated from one another by thin white stripes.
