Established on August 28, 1962, Air Force NCO Professional Military Education Graduate Ribbon is awarded to noncommissioned officers of the United States Air Force who graduate from a designated level of training.
The Air Force Meritorious Unit Award Ribbon was established in 2004 to honor United States Air Force units who perform noteworthy service in combat operations for a term of no fewer than 90 consecutive days. The initial date of eligibility is September 11, 2001.
