United Nations Iraq / Kuwait Observer Mission

The United Nations Iraq / Kuwait Observer Mission Medal honors those who assisted in carrying out observation on the Khor Abdullah waterway and the demilitarized zone between the countries of Kuwait and Iraq; the mission was established in April of 1991. Eligible individuals must have served for 90 days consecutively during that period.

Saudi Arabian Medal for the Liberation of Kuwait

Established on October 7, 1991 by the Saudi government, the Saudi Arabian Medal for the Liberation of Kuwait Medal honors United States military members who carried out service in the Liberation of Kuwait and Operation Desert Storm between the dates of January 17 and February 28,1991.

Kuwait – Liberation of Kuwait

Established on March 16, 1995, the Kuwait Liberation Medal is an award issued by the Kuwaiti government to honor United States Armed Forces personnel who carried out service in Operation Desert Shield and/or Operation Desert Storm as well as the Liberation of Kuwait between the dates of August 2, 1990 and August 31, 1993.
