The Vermont National Guard Medal of Merit honors Vermont National Guard members who carry out sustained exemplary service or execute a feat of heroism, typically in a position of considerable responsibility and in such a manner as to enhance or promote the Vermont National Guard as a whole.
Vermont National Guard Commendation
The Vermont National Guard Commendation Medal honors Vermont National Guard members who carry out meritorious service of a degree greater than that required for the Vermont National Guard Achievement Medal but of a lesser degree than would warrant the Vermont National Guard Distinguished Service Medal.
Vermont National Guard Meritorious Service
The Vermont National Guard Meritorious Service Ribbon honors Vermont National Guard members who carry out a heroic act or other noteworthy accomplishments in a sustained and significant capacity on behalf of the state or the Guard.
