History - Established 1995

Established on November 2, 1995, the Coast Guard Recruiting Service Ribbon honors Coast Guard members who carry out service in a two-year term as a recruiter. It may be awarded retroactively for service dating back to January 1, 1980, and may be worn provisionally during service as a recruiter.

Details

The ribbon is bisected by a thin red line flanked on either side by a thin stripe of dark blue, white, and green proceeding outward, followed by a thicker yellow section, a thin blue stripe, and yellow edging on either side.

Subsequent awards may be indicated by service stars.
