The Minnesota National Guard Good Conduct Medal honors Minnesota National Guard members who carry out three years of honorable service without infractions or disciplinary measures.
Consisting of the Minnesota Army National Guard and the Minnesota Air National Guard, the Minnesota National Guard totals approximately 13,000 members. The Army component, headquartered in St. Paul, originally formed as a militia in 1856. The Air component is also based in St. Paul and dates back to the 109th Squadron’s formation in 1921.
The ribbon is gray and is bisected by a vertical yellow stripe; it features a thin vertical yellow stripe on each edge.
