The Nevada National Guard Command Ribbon honors Nevada National Guard members who carry out service in a commanding role.
The Nevada National Guard is composed of the Nevada Army National Guard and the Nevada Air National Guard. The Army component numbers approximately 2,500 and is based in Carson City. The Air component, established in 1948, numbers around 1,100; it is currently based in Fallon and consists of the 152d Airlift Wing and the support units 232d Operations Squadron and 92d Civil Support Team.
The ribbon features a dark blue central section flanked on either side by a thin vertical white stripe, a thin vertical yellow stripe, and a thicker red stripe proceeding outward.
