History

The Nevada National Guard Distinguished Service Ribbon honors Nevada National Guard members who demonstrate excellence while holding a position of notable responsibility.

The Nevada National Guard is composed of the Nevada Army National Guard and the Nevada Air National Guard. The Army component numbers approximately 2,500 and is based in Carson City. The Air component, established in 1948, numbers around 1,100; it is currently based in Fallon and consists of the 152d Airlift Wing and the support units 232d Operations Squadron and 92d Civil Support Team.

Details

The ribbon is gray with two thin vertical dark blue stripes toward the center and one toward each edge.
