The Nevada National Guard Overseas Deployment Ribbon honors Nevada National Guard members who carry out service in an overseas deployment or other term of duty outside the continental United States.
The Nevada National Guard is composed of the Nevada Army National Guard and the Nevada Air National Guard. The Army component numbers approximately 2,500 and is based in Carson City. The Air component, established in 1948, numbers around 1,100; it is currently based in Fallon and consists of the 152d Airlift Wing and the support units 232d Operations Squadron and 92d Civil Support Team.
The ribbon is bisected by a white vertical stripe and features thin stripes proceeding outward on each side as follows: blue, gray, red, white, red, gray, and yellow; the gray stripes are slightly thicker.
