History

The Nevada National Guard Emergency/Humanitarian Service Ribbon honors Nevada National Guard members who carry out service in the event of an emergency or who make notable contributions to the community.

The Nevada National Guard is composed of the Nevada Army National Guard and the Nevada Air National Guard. The Army component numbers approximately 2,500 and is based in Carson City. The Air component, established in 1948, numbers around 1,100; it is currently based in Fallon and consists of the 152d Airlift Wing and the support units 232d Operations Squadron and 92d Civil Support Team.

Details

The ribbon is gray and is bisected by a thin vertical red stripe; it features a thin yellow stripe toward each edge as well as dark blue edging.
