The Nevada National Guard Resource Protection Ribbon honors Nevada National Guard members who have completed at least one year of training for the Resource Protection Team.
The Nevada National Guard is composed of the Nevada Army National Guard and the Nevada Air National Guard. The Army component numbers approximately 2,500 and is based in Carson City. The Air component, established in 1948, numbers around 1,100; it is currently based in Fallon and consists of the 152d Airlift Wing and the support units 232d Operations Squadron and 92d Civil Support Team.
The ribbon features a thick vertical white stripe in the center flanked on either side by a thin stripe each of blue and brown and a thicker green stripe on each edge.
