United Nations In Service of Peace Commemorative Medal and Ribbon

History

The United Nations in Service of Peace Commemorative Ribbon is intended to recognize personnel who have contributed their service in a variety of United Nations Peacekeeping missions throughout the world.

Details

The medal features a white dove carrying an olive branch. A ring of blue encircles the dove, and the inscription reads “IN SERVICE OF PEACE WORLDWIDE.” A star appears on both sides of the dove. On the reverse, an inscription reads “DEFENDING HUMANITY”

The ribbon is light blue with thin vertical stripes of red, white, and blue on each edge.
