Utah National Guard Service
The Utah National Guard Service Ribbon honors Utah National Guard members who carry out honorable service while maintaining a minimum of 90 percent attendance. The first award is made after three years of service, the second after five, and any subsequent awards at five-year intervals.
Utah National Guard Recruiting
The Utah National Guard Recruiting Ribbon honors Utah National Guard members who demonstrate excellence in recruiting by earning ten points. Securing a new enlistment earns four points and securing a prior enlistment earns two.
Utah National Guard Medal of Merit Service
The Utah National Guard Medal of Merit honors Utah National Guard members who carry out sustained exemplary service or execute a feat of heroism, typically in a position of considerable responsibility and in such a manner as to enhance or promote the Utah National Guard as a whole.
Utah National Guard Emergency Service
The Utah National Guard Emergency Service Ribbon honors Utah National Guard members who carry out honorable service in the event of an emergency or other crisis as determined by the Governor. To be eligible, service must have occurred on or subsequent to September 1, 1982.
Utah National Guard Deteur Digniory
Obsolete as of June 1, 1989, the Utah National Guard Detur Digniori Ribbon honored one outstanding Utah Guard member each year.
Utah National Guard Cross
The Utah National Guard Cross honors Utah National Guard members who execute a feat of noteworthy valor or heroism.
Utah National Guard Commendation
The Utah National Guard Commendation Ribbon honors Utah National Guard members who carry out exceptional service or accomplishments on behalf of the Guard, typically of a lesser nature than would warrant the Medal of Merit.
Utah National Guard Basic Training
Obsolete as of June 1, 1989, the Utah National Guard Basic Training Ribbon honors Utah National Guard members who successfully complete Basic Training.
Utah National Guard Achievement
The Utah National Guard Achievement Ribbon honors Utah National Guard members who carry out exceptional service that benefits or promotes a particular unit or group.
