History - Established 1969
Established on August 26, 1969, the Air Force Organizational Excellence Award honors organizations or events within the Air Force that have demonstrated particular excellence.
Details
The ribbon is red with a thin vertical dark blue stripe in the center flanked by a thinner vertical white stripe on either side. Each edge of the ribbon features thin dark blue vertical stripe with a thinner vertical white stripe to its interior.
Subsequent awards may be indicated by bronze oak leaf clusters or the bronze "V" device.
