Navy Sea Service Deployment
Established in May of 1980 and retroactive to August 15, 1974, the Navy Sea Service Deployment Ribbon honors United States Navy and Marine Corps personnel who carry out service with a deployed unit for 90 days consecutively, for two periods each of a minimum of 80 days within a one-year term, or six months at a forward-deployed overseas station.

Established on February 6, 1942, the Navy Presidential Unit Citation recognizes acts of heroism or unusually excellent conduct by operating units of the United States Navy or Marine Corps of a nature that would warrant the Navy Cross if performed individually and that sets them apart from other units. It may also be awarded to friendly foreign units.
Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation
Created on July 17, 1967, the Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbon honors Navy and Marine Corps units that distinguish themselves through outstanding service or feats of valor of a nature that would warrant the Bronze Star if undertaken individually or of a comparable individual award if performed under circumstances not involving combat.
